So, I work on a project called Canalscape, which is an initiative developed from previous research, proposals and ideas by Dr. Nan Ellin at Arizona State University.  She is one of my mentors, surely, and I have enjoyed working with her for the past three years on this project and others.  To learn more, check out the Canalscape website, which I built on WordPress using a variation on this same template.
